A Singer Portable electric sewing machine 221 is the Singer Featherweight which is now pretty old. However they were extremely rugged little machines, so they will most probaly last another 50 years. Featherweight Singer machines are highly sought after by collectors. This machine is working, the light comes on and off and it still has it's original foot. The suitcase the clasps are not working but the instruction book is included for the machine explaning the operation of the machine, eg: how to change the bobbin, thread the machine etc. The paint is peeling off in places however this can be expected due to the age of the item, nice display piece!!
