This item is secondhand and in excellent condition. This Trellis pattern designed by Royal Albert was released in 1927 and discontinued in 1935. The pattern was again released in 1940 and discontinued permanently in 1950. These particular cake plates are in the Countess shape and have gold trim along the rims. A trellis in deep mist grey runs along the rim from which a series of green and grey leafy designs display golden yellow, blue and pink flowers. The plates are marked underneath with the Royal Albert stamp for the 1940s re-release version of the Trellis Pattern - 'Trellis, Royal Albert, Bone China, England' and each measure 15,5 x 15,5 cm.
