This SK8 aluminum end support block can be used for intermittent or end shaft support. It is suitable for all types of shafts and is lightweight and sturdy. Because they provide a dependable and simple method of fastening an 8mm linear shaft to the remaining machine assembly by utilizing two holes in the block's foot, these end supports are found in many well-built 3D printers, CNC machines, other linear motion items.
Description:
The precision machining of the block ensures a high-quality output and guarantees that your linear shafting sits true to the rest of your CNC machine or 3D printer.
The rod is physically secured through a slit in the block. A clamping screw is used to tighten the aluminum around the shaft. Using this friction clamping force along with a dab of lock tight on the screw thread, a failsafe connection that meets industry standards for engineering can be established.
Simply slide the shaft or rail through and tighten the clamping screw at the top of the block to lock it into place. Next, you fasten this to the other parts of your assemblage using two M5 bolts. If you need to disassemble or perform maintenance on your machine, it's easy to release the clamp and take out the shaft.
