Skabi-Rid is a new treatment for scabies. Scabies is a skin condition that affects more than 300 million people worldwide annually.

Treating the forgotten scourge Skabi-Rid is a newly registered skin lotion for the treatment of Scabies (Sarcoptes Scabiei). It contains permethrin, a most effective and safe application of natural origin. On application less than 2% is absorbed through the skin and is quickly detoxified by ester hydrolysis.

By means of a clinical trial conducted by QdotPharma, it was proven that this application was more effective, had fewer side effects and needed one application versus multiple applications of existing treatments. Permethrin 5% application is on the WHO EDL (Essential Drug List) and worldwide considered the drug of choice and an essential drug in the treatment of scabies.
