Sky Lanterns are safer and last longer than fireworks.
Our lanterns stand more than 90cm tall and take approximately 45 – 60 seconds to fill with hot air before they are ready to be released into the night time sky.
You will feel the sky lantern starting to tug and pull upwards when it is ready to be released. The lantern will rise up to about 500m in the sky and will take between 4- 5 minutes before the flame dies out and the lantern gently floats to the ground.
Also known as Khoom Fay (Sky Lanterns), these lanterns have been used in Chinese and Thai celebrations for thousands of years. Traditionally, lighting a Sky Lantern would take away your troubles and the higher the Sky Lantern went, the greater your prosperity for the future!
Nowadays Sky Lanterns are currently taking the European market by storm! From weddings to corporate events, they are being launched at all of the top notch weddings and celebrations and an article was recently written in the UK Wedding Magazine – November 2007 edition – as a super cool (and different) way to celebrate your wedding.

STANDARD LANTERNS INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
| 1. Carefully open out the Sky Lantern and expand it to its full size. | |
| 2. Remove the Fuel cell from its packaging and attach the 4 wires to the wires under the Sky Lantern. | |
| 3. Open the Sky Lantern out and hold it upright. Light the Fuel Cell in several places to ensure an even burn. Be careful not to let the flame touch the paper. | |
| 4. The Fuel Cell should be left to burn until the Sky Lantern has filled sufficiently with hot air. When it is ready to fly, it will want to pull out of your hands (30-40 seconds). Release the Sky Lantern with two hands, whilst making a wish - look up, admire and enjoy |
