Thumpback was once a pirate in the crew of the fearsome ship 'The Phantom Tide', but the traveling on the ship part was much more interesting to him than actually being a pirate! His real passion was fishing, but when he had his chance to snare the elusive Leviathan Cloud Crab, he was pulled overboard and carried off into the horizon.
This was actually quite fortunate, because some time later 'The Phantom Tide' and its entire crew were banished to the Chest of Exile. Thumpback's pirating days were over, but his legend as one of the first Skylanders has only just begun.
