The next step up from the 114 mm, the 130 mm gathers 30% more light than the 114 mm. The short tube Catadioptric design packs a focal length of 1000 mm in a tube only 510 mm long. This telescope will show greater detail due to the longer focal length as well as a brighter image than the 114 mm.
