DAINTY VINTAGE DIAMOND HALF ETERNITY 9CT YELLOW AND WHITE GOLD RING. 375

 This vintage half eternity ring features 7 x round cut diamonds in an 'illusion'* setting in a piece crafted in 9ct yellow gold. The diamonds are claw set quite deep so they don't stick out above the gold, they lie nice and flat, making the ring easy to wear. The slender shank is narrow until high on the shoulders, then thickening slightly to the height of the diamonds. The ring head measures 15mm across x 3mm wide, and the piece weighs a dainty 1,36 grams. The pedigree of the piece is evident in it's many hallmarks - 375 indicating 9ct gold, the London Assay mark, the jeweller's signature and the date 1990. 

*An illusion setting is where genuine diamonds are set in white gold to give the impression of both larger diamonds and more sparkle.
