Our Slimline 2 Stage Whole House Water Filter is similar to the standard big blue filters in that it is also 20" , (View our big blue 2 stage filter here) however these slimline filter housings are appealing in that it is a smaller design in diameter. The slimline works and functions exactly as the big blue and comes with the 1 Micron & Carbon Block filter.
The slimline water filter has a flow rate of 2280l/ph and is used to purify the supply of your main incoming water in the supply line. The 2 stage filter removes sediment, odours, chemicals and non beneficial bacteria and nitrates ect. from your water. The 2 stage filtration is also used as a pre-filtration for reverse osmosis.
Slimline water filters allow for minimal pressure reduction and extended filter life.
- Unlike an RO system, this system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), thus it keeps the healthy minerals in the water.
- The first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter achieves filtration down to 5 microns. The second and third stage CTO Carbon Block filter uses high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both are tested by independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI Standards. Both filters have a capacity of 100,000 gallon of water to supply one full year of clean water for a family of four.
The slimline filtration system can handle pressures up to a maximum of 8 bar.

1x Mounting Bracket (Assembled)
1x Wrench to easily remove and replace housing in the event of replacing a cartridge
1x 1 micron sediment filter (Inside Housing)
1x Carbon Block Filter (Inside Housing)

The filter cartridges are already placed in their respective housings in the order required for the system to function as needed.
