This small collection consists mostly of ZAR, Paul Kruger or Anglo-Boer War related items.
The first picture shows all the items you are bidding on as one lot ...
The following two pictures show the 5 teaspoons and one fork. Five of the silver plated items show the bust of Paul Kruger (including two original ZAR tickies). The items were probably made after the Boer War period (middle of the previous century?). The sixth item is a solid silver teaspoon issued for the inauguration of the Voortrekker monument on 16 December 1949.
The following postage stamp pairs of the Z.A.R. were issued during the Anglo Boer War period (1901-1902) and overprinted with the letters E.R.I. They are in unmounted mint condition and catalogues at over R300.00.
The following is a cheque (De Nationale Bank der Z.A. Republiek) for £4, 7 shillings and 6 pence on the 15th of April 1896.
The following is a Bank of Africa Limited bank cheque for £150 issued during the Anglo Boer War on 11 September 1900 by the Witwatersrand Gold Mining Company.
