The hallmarks indicate that it was made in Chester in 1903 by John & William Deakin.
I have carefully cleaned the top, but it requires a bit more cleaning. I used HA which is a well known kitchen detergent.
The inside has not been cleaned. To the left of the hallmark it has the letters JD over WD in a shield.
There are a few very tiny nicks in the edge of the glass, which you can feel when you run your nail along the edge. One nick is slightly larger.
Length 80 mm x 33 mm x 26 mm high. Weight of lid only a fraction over 13 grams.
