A stunning Art Deco lidded soup tureen with matching ladle by the Staffordshire porcelain company, Minton. It is hand-painted with beautiful floral detail against a cream and green background. The back stamp dates the manufacture of this piece to between 1912 and 1950, making it a near antique!

The tureen and its lid have crazing, and there is a small spot on one of the handles where a fleck of paint has come off. There is a very faint hairline crack of about 1cm on the edge of the lid that is hardly visible. The ladle has a chip on its handle. See the last two photos for details.

Dimensions of tureen: about 18cm across the handles and 7.4cm high to the rim of the tureen and 12cm to the top of the lid's finial. When held upright, the ladle is about 11cm high and the diameter of its bowl about 6.5cm across. The tureen holds about 500ml liquid.
