HOOKAH / TOBACCO WATER PIPE:
A water pipe, also known as a hookah, narghile, shisha, or hubbly bubbly, is a device used for smoking tobacco. The tobacco smoke is cooled by passing it through water before inhalation. A water pipe consists of a head (where the tobacco is placed), a body, a water bowl, a hose, and a mouthpiece. Moist, often sweetened and flavored, tobacco is placed in the head. Charcoal is placed on top of the tobacco, separated by foil. When a smoker inhales, air is drawn through the charcoal, heating the tobacco and creating smoke. The smoke then passes through the water in the bowl, which cools it before the smoker inhales it through the hose and mouthpiece.
