WIFI wall switch - Requires a neutral wire

Most homes will have wiring through its lights that has a neutral wire (black wire, not to be confused with the bare earth wire) within the space where the switch is installed. Switches are designed to either require this wire or not require this wire. Please check that you have a black wire running through your switch's space before purchasing this option as it requires a neutral wire in order to function. We do have Non neutral options available on Bid or Buy under the The Technology Store's page.  Feel free to contact us if you are not sure, and send a photo of your current switches space (hole in the wall) so we can assist you with making the correct choice and avoiding unnecessary transportation costs.

• Security and comfort: When approaching your home in the dark, or when you hear a noise, ask, or toggle your app to turn on all lights or key lights so you don't enter your home or certain areas in the dark. 
• Save power: Ensure lights aren't left on accidentally (if not scheduled as part of automation)
• Modern look: Very modern look and design (touch pad type) switch. 

Easily set schedules for your lights with this wall switch. Examples: 

• All outside lights must come on 10 minutes after sunset or when the weather changes or at specific times
• All outdoor lighting must turn off accordingly so as not to waste energy
• Key indoor lights must come on at night to simulate someone being home or simply for quality-of-life purposes. 

Set routines/ Examples:

• Lights must come on when getting out of bed, and stay on for 15 minutes while you let in sunlight and automatically turn off. 
• When watching tv at night, all indoor lights should turn off and only key lights should be on.
• When getting ready for bed at night, all lights should start a timer of 5 minutes before turning off, so you have time to check all the doors and windows and get settled in. Then turn off automatically. 
• Routines to repeat themselves daily while on holiday. 

The only limit to the above is your imagination.
