The SPS-600 can typically run a modern flat screen LCD TV (100W), a laptop (50W), a DSTV decoder (50W) and a low energy lamp (20W) for 5 hours or more. All devices plugged into the SPS-600 are protected from damaging surges and spikes. The gel battery is installed inside of the cabinet and the SPS-600 will be delivered ready to switch on and use.

In addition, the SPS-600 has a built-in solar controller for OPTIONAL solar connection. A solar panel is not included. A solar panel is not needed to run the SPS but it can be added at any time to charge the batteries or provide power to any device plugged in. The solar function can operate alongside or completely free of mains power. If the power ever fails for more than a few hours, the SPS, connected to a solar panel, could supply vital free electricity, day after day.
