For network management, this latest adapter features a "Remote LAN Wakeup" option for remote management and an optional Boot ROM socket to enable network booting from diskless workstations. For connectivity, this SMC Adapter uses a single RJ-45 connector for both data rates, making it a simple and cost-effective solution for your network at both the home and office. Simply connect SMC EZ Card™ 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI Card to a Fast Ethernet device and it will automatically connect at 100Mbps for highest performance.
