This exceptional Smoky Quartz crystal from the famed Erongo Mountains of Namibia rises like a sculpted obelisk, showcasing rich transparency with warm smoky hues and dramatic internal zoning. Smoky Quartz is a variety of quartz that owes its brown to nearly black coloration to natural radiation exposure and the presence of trace amounts of aluminum in the crystal lattice.
