King Smurf from the large set of Smurfs designed by Peyo. This one was made in Portugal under license from Schleich in West Germany in 1978. Under the feet are the copyright marks for Peyo and Schleich as well as Made in Portugal, 1978, and the numeral 1. What is unusual about this smurf is that it appears to be moulded in yellow instead of white, and the hat is painted gold. He holds a mushroom sceptre.
King Smurf stands 5.8cm tall, and is in excellent condition.
