With thick, upright leaves featuring a unique streaked pattern of silvery green and neon lime margins, this cultivar adds a flash of colour and drama to any corner without needing much in return.
Unlike its taller cousins, 'Streaker' has a more compact rosette form, which makes it ideal for desks, bathrooms, and small spaces. It's happy in low light, won't mind if you forget to water it for a week or two, and looks great in just about any pot. Just don't overwaterthis beauty likes to stay dry.
Light:
Thrives in bright, indirect light but also tolerates lower light conditions. It will grow faster and show better colour in brighter spaces, but it's famously unfussy.
💧 Water:
Very drought-tolerantwater only when the soil is completely dry. In winter, this could be every 34 weeks. Avoid watering into the rosette or letting the plant sit in water.
🌡 Humidity & Temperature:
Average indoor humidity is perfect. Keep temperatures above 10°C. It's tough, but it doesn't like frost or cold, damp spots.
🪴 Potting mix:
Go for a super well-draining mix. You can use our Aroid Mix for a great base, or combine Barks Unlimited Potting Soil with Perlite for drainage. Adding a few Bark Chips can help keep the roots happy.
🌱 Feeding:
A light feed every 23 months in spring and summer is all it needs. Use a balanced organic fertiliser. Don't fertilise in winter.
🛡 Pests:
Generally pest-free, but keep an eye out for mealybugs and scale. Wipe leaves occasionally and treat with insecticidal spray if needed.
Repotting & pruning:
Repot only when severely rootboundevery 23 years is fine. Use a shallow pot with good drainage. You can trim any damaged leaves at the base to keep it looking neat.
