Snuff is the 39th novel in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, published in 2011. The story follows Sam Vimes, the Commander of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, who is sent on a forced vacation to the rural estate of his friend, Lord Vetinari. While there, Vimes stumbles upon a shocking discovery: a group of goblins are being treated as second-class citizens and are being forced to work in a snuff (tobacco) factory under horrific conditions.

Driven by his innate sense of justice, Vimes decides to investigate the abuse, leading to a tense and emotional confrontation with the local aristocracy and the goblin community. The book is notable for being one of Pratchett's most serious works, tackling heavy themes like racism, slavery, and the dehumanization of the "other," while still retaining the series' characteristic humour and wit.
