Soccernomics. Why England loses, why Germany and Brazil win, and why the U.S., Japan, Australia,Turkey--and even Iraq--are destined to become the kings of the worlds most popular sport, by Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski. Published by Nation Books, 2009.

ISBN 978-1-56858-425-6. Paperback,328pp.

Shelf-rubbed, with a small, superficial scratch on front panel. Front corners creased; spine creased. Light rubbing to corners, top- and fore-edge. Front and rear panels foxed and age-toned. Edges of text block foxed. Heavy foxing and age-toning on inside of covers, fly leaves and prelims. Persistent foxing--occasionally heavy--throughout. A faint damp-stain in the margin along the fore-edge persists through entire text block--gives the whole book a somewhat buckled feel. No inscriptions, no underlining or highlighting, no annotations or marginalia. Binding secure, no loose, missing, or torn pages.
