Combining gritty gunplay with tactical planning, the SOCOM series has long been one of Sony’s most respected warfare simulations. In SOCOM - Special Forces, players take control of an elite squad left outnumbered in a country in the midst of revolution. Players have just six days to contain the turmoil while surviving in the city. Taking control of their squad on the battlefield, players will have to carefully plan each confrontation with the rebels that patrol the Southeast Asia streets.

Using squad tactics to outmanoeuvre the enemy, players can flank to designate hostile targets and call in airstrikes directly from the battlefield. Using the PlayStation Move, players now have a greater deal of control over their squad’s movements, as well as more precise shooting mechanics. Up to 32 players can take the fight online and compete in squad-based multiplayer.
