Ashwagandha is a traditional Indian (Ayurvedic) herbal extract that helps reduce stress and promote calm. It is sometimes referred to as Indian Ginseng because it also boosts energy levels. Ashwagandha also helps treat low thyroid function and may protect the immune system. KSM-66® ashwagandha is rich in prebiotic fructooligosaccharides along with essential amino acids, vitamin A, calcium and iron. KSM-66® ashwagandha extract is prepared without using alcohol or chemical solvents and it contains the highest percentage of withanolides available in South Africa.
