This interesting plant comes from Thailand. In the East the eat it raw dipped into a sauce, but as some people find it bitter raw, it's recommended to be used in a curry. The whole fruit can be harvested as is and thrown into the pot of curry. Plants are grown like other eggplants: sow 5mm deep, plant in full sun, water deep and feed once a month.
