Due to the fact that this unit can be placed in water, we can only guarantee it for a period of 1 month after purchase. We have to do this as if the light is placed in your pool where people may jump on it, small cracks can appear thereby making the waterproofing ineffective and causing the unit to malfunction. These are outside influences we have no control over.
There is a battery seal with O-Ring, if it's correctly tightened then you won't have a problem at all, if not then the result will be a flooded battery and the unit won't function any longer.
