So how does this kit work?
The Kit is a simple plug and play system and does not need a qualified electrician to be installed. All of the components supplied in the kit will connect to your existing gate motor and takes approx 15 to 30 minutes to install.An easy do-it-yourself 5 step manual will allow you to connect the system with much ease. The existing backup battery within your gate motor housing will remain charged and does not need to be removed as this will ensure that you have a "back up" power supply despite having an additional battery which we will supply. The Sun's rays with be absorbed by the Solar Panel and converted into energy which will be transferred to the Solar Battery. A solar Voltage regulator will ensure that the battery is supplied with correct amount of energy and will regulate or restrict excess energy which will ensure healthy long battery life. The inverter supplied will convert 12 volt direct current to 220 volt. Your gate motor mains will connect directly to this unit.
