Dandelion contains a wide range of minerals and vitamins. These include vitamin A, C, D and B complex. Inulin can be found in Dandelion and has the ability to strengthen the immune system and possibly fight bacteria. Dandelion is especially useful in improving liver function, namely in improving liver congestion, bile duct inflammation, hepatitis, gallstones and jaundice. It is also a diuretic but is high in potassium so the body will not lose potassium in this process.
