Solid Brass Porthole fitted with Mirror

On offer this stunning and sought after solid brass porthole that has been fitted with a mirror. It has a diameter of 26.5cm, measures 11cm from front to back and weighs a sturdy 3.370kg. The porthole opens by unscrewing the bolt. A glass was fitted behind the mirror, this glass has a crack in it and has been glued back together, but this is obviously not noticeable as the mirror is in front of it. This item is ex-stock of a Durban antique store famous for it's original nautical antiques, it sadly had to close doors last year due to the ill health of it's owner.
