The Set weighs approximately 900gm This is 900gm of pure British Sterling Silver (925)

A really beautiful set of antique 1894 solid silver knives and forks,with the knife blades also being Sterling Silver.

The Hallmarks on the knives and forks consist of the makers mark "JR,confirming that the makers were John Ridge, who were a Sheffield manufacturer in the late 19th century.

The Lion Phassant confirms it is Sterling Silver (925). The Crown Assay Mark confirms that they were made in Sheffield, England. The date letter b indicates that they made in 1894.

The knives and fork handles seem to depict a Battle of some sort.

They are in great condition.

Please Note: There is an engraving on each knife with the letters"JM"

There is also a Honey Bee engraved on each knife and fork.
