Solid Silver `Art Nouveau` Basket (1904)

Pretty Small Sterling Silver 'Art Nouveau'  Basket(1904) 

This fine quality, very pretty, solid silver, antique basket with swing handle, is beautifully decorated with an art nouveau repousse and cut-out design, featuring bunches of grapes, leaves and vines. The basket is hallmarked with English silver import marks for Birmingham and was made in 1904 by silversmiths 'Gorham Manufacturing Co.' (GM.Co). It also has an engraved monogram on the inside of the base. This lovely piece is in excellent condition and measures 14cm x 10cm, stands 12cm high with handle and weighs 96,7g.
