Solid Silver 'Borough of Ladysmith' Shooting Spoon

 

This antique, quality, sterling silver spoon has a detailed coat of arms at the top, with the words 'THE BOROUGH OF LADYSMITH NATAL' around it, and the bowl of the spoon is engraved 'K.R.R.A.' and 'Won by T. ARKELL'. It is English hallmarked on the back for Birmingham 1910 and stamped 'C.W' for makers 'Charles Wilkes'. The spoon is in excellent condition, measures 10,2cm in length and weighs 12,1g.
