Published by Human&Rousseau ,Cape Town,1971.The dust jacket has much roughing along the top and a tear .There is also some damage on the back.The book,apart from a little browning on the front and back free end papers is in reasonable condition.
The text is in Afrikaans,English and French.Malan spent some time at the Cape in the middle of the 19th century and his paintings illustrate well the landscape and life then.Photographs of many of his paintings illustrate the text.Postage free within South Africa.
