A first edition hardcover published by Hamish Hamilton  in 1955

Blue cover boards with silver writing to the spine, binding is tight & strong, stain to flyleave bottoms rear & front & back cover otherwise just agecolouring, still a nice copy.

Dustjacket is mostly complete & not priceclipped, chipping & tears to spine & bookends, up to 1cm loss top & bottom of spine.
