A woman who escaped a cult eight years ago is now a single mom raising an eight-year-old son named David with a mysterious medical condition. Doctors can't pinpoint what's wrong with him, but the shocking discovery is made that eating human flesh instantly makes him feel well again. David may or not be a vampire. However, his mother is suffering from mental delusions that stem from the psychological trauma she endured during her cult years.
