It shows all your messages in full (Twitter, FaceBook or text) and even manages your RSS feeds, letting you read them all on the LiveView without ever reaching for your phone.

Each time you have a new message it vibrates discreetly to you let you know. It takes all the hassle out of digging in pockets/handbags to find your phone and unlock the screen just to check if you have a new message.

As a bonus the LiveView even lets you start and control your phones music playback. The clever display is touch sensitive, but only on the four edges, which means you don't accidentally select the wrong option. The included wrist strap lets you wear it like a watch (it shows the time) or clip it to a shirt or coat.

Sony Ericsson haven't restricted to only Sony Ericsson phones either, it works with lots of Android phones, so long as they run Android 2.0 or higher. The best about the LiveView is that its an open platform, just like Android. That means as developers find new and interesting ways to use the LiveView, all you'll have to do is download the app for it.”
