A standard zoom length that covers wide-angle to short telephoto images for E-mount mirrorless cameras. With a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture, this lens maintains consistent performance throughout the zoom range and benefits from working in low-light conditions and with selective focus techniques. Complementing the apt light-gathering capabilities is an equally impressive optical design, which incorporates three aspherical elements that reduce aberration, two ED elements that suppress chromatic aberration and two XA elements that increases corner to corner sharpness and suppress distance-related aberrations. Also, a Nano AR Coating II has been applied to individual elements to significantly minimise lens flare, ghosting and aberration for increased contrast and colour neutrality.

The autofocus system enables enhanced tracking performance even at 30fps while zooming. When using it for video applications, you will experience smooth, precise and quiet AF and tracking.
