Its unique stacked structure with back illuminated pixels layered over integrated signal processing circuits enables both faster read-out speeds and superior low-light performance due to more light reaching the sensor.
BIONZ XR image processing
Integrated within the image sensor, our latest generation BIONZ XR image processor enables higher frame-rates, faster autofocus, improved Auto Tracing White Balance (ATW) control and superior noise reduction. It extracts maximum performance from the high-resolution image sensor, effortlessly capturing the most subtle textures and finest detail. 5K oversampling with full-pixel readout condenses ample image information into stunning 4K (3840 x 2160) 60p video.

4K 120fps for stunning slow-motion footage
