This is one of the first genuine sony media centre pc and includes two 100gb hard discs, nvidia gforce go 7600 card and 256mb of dedicated memory. The 17` lcd has a native resolution of 1,920x1,200 which lets u enjoy your dvd`s in all its glory. The website in the end concludes it would be easy to think of the ar 11s solely as the first notebook available with a blu-ray drive , but that really would be selling it short. What you`ve actually got here is a superb media centre pc , with all the cfomponents to allow it to be the centre of your high - definition entertainment setup , yes it is pretty expensive , but you are really getting not just cutting edge but potentially future proof technology. Once blu-ray movies start to appear the ar 11s will add another very impressive string to its blow but the jewel in the crown of the ar 11s is the hdcp enabled HDMI port , meaning that not only will you be able to watch blu-ray movies on the excellent 17` internal screen , but u will also be able to watch them on your high definition tv in the living room.
