Sophia's Mix Smudge Sticks - Cleansing, Clarity & Upliftment

Smudge sticks have long been used in ancient purification rituals. They can be used for blessing and preparing a space, expelling negativity, for clearing and cleansing an environment, person or object and finding harmonious balance. The plants used are carefully selected, bunched, tied and dried with intent, wisdom and purpose. Smudging should be done with care, reverence and an attitude of love.

Made in South Africa. These oh so pretty smudge sticks are made with wildflowers and material collected from the forest surrounding Wildnerness and using specially cultivated smudging herbs.

How to use a Smudge Stick

Holding the smudge stick by the handle end, use a lighter to ignite the tip. Blow out any open flames so that the leaves slowly smolder.  Next, wave the smudging wand around a room, person, or objects to direct the fragrant, cleansing smoke.  Catch the ashes in a heat-resistant dish.  (An abalone shell is traditional, but you can use a smudge pot, incense burner, or even a regular plate, as long as you put something under it.)  Smudge sticks can be extinguished in a dish of sand and re-used many times.  Of course, never leave burning smudges unattended
