Planchet has been augmented, by means of termination in which a aperture / port has been perforated. All nomenclature is present and legible. Item is Second-Hand.

An EXCELLENT example of a South Africa 1929 King George V .800 Silver 3d Terminated Coin. This piece appears to be in a VG/ VG+ state of preservation , with detailed Graphic Design Relief on  obverse and reverse. All insignia/ symbology present. Appropriate signs of handling/ age-related wear is visible on surface. Item remains in a used condition, having been subject to augmentation. Coin retains a good lustre , with a degree of surface toning / variable discoloration due to. 800 Silver composition. Planchet has been augmented- by means of terminal perforation , in which a port / aperture has been bored through Coin structure. This unit of currency series was issued from 1925 - 1930 , and is NO LONGER LEGAL TENDER.
