South Africa 2010 (WC15)

ABOUT THE ARTIST:  

Gianna Milani is a self-taught artist living in the Somerset West area (not too far from Cape Town). Her work is colourful and she enjoys capturing light in her paintings. She is surrounded by beautiful people, mountains, vineyards and the sea. The colours, shades and forms around her are often an inspiration in her work.  

Gianna Milani’s work is also available in local galleries in the peninsula.  

She takes commissions as well.

ABOUT THIS WORK:

This painting is part of a series that I painted  during 2010.  The series was inspired by the World Cup, which South Africa hosted very successfully.  A limited number of the paintings have hand-made wire figures which are attached to the painting.  This is one that has.  There is a limited number of paintings available with the date signed 2010. The painting is 240mm x 240mm acrylic on board.  It is ready to hang as is, or alternatively, the hook can easily be removed if you wish to frame it.
