Attractive 1975 South African Reserve Bank Five Rand (R5) banknote featuring Jan van Riebeeck on the obverse, with Table Mountain faintly visible in the background.
The reverse depicts a gold mining scene one of South Africas most symbolic industrial designs of the 1970s series.
Signed by Governor T.W. de Jongh and printed by Thomas De La Rue & Co., London.
Condition: Uncirculated (UNC) bright purple tone, crisp paper, no folds or stains.
