Original 1984 South African Reserve Bank 50 Rand (R50) note featuring Jan van Riebeeck on the obverse and the Lion watermark in the centre.
The reverse beautifully depicts Table Mountain, Cape flora, and African wildlife such as zebra, kudu, and springbok a classic representation of South African natural heritage.
Printed by the South African Bank Note Company, this series circulated during the early 1980s before being replaced by the R50 note featuring Jan van Riebeeck in the multicolour big five series.
Condition: Fine to Very Fine (FVF) visible creases and folds, still retains good colour and detail.
