Binding: Hard covers bound in red cloth-covered boards with red half leather. Gilt titles and gilt ring bands on spine and gilt lines on leather edges. Gilt page edges. Front and back endpapers marbled. 

Book Conditions: They are in good condition for their age. Please see photos. No loose pages and appears complete with numerous illustrations, photos and maps. 

The set weighs 7kg.

Edition: McConnel & Co 1900, 1901 and the last volume is undated but presumably 1902.

A comprehensive account of the Anglo Boer War 1899-1902 in 7 volumes bound as 4 books.
