Dates: 1967 -1972
Commentary: New signature. In the first part of this issue the reverse side continued to have intaglio print. This special security printing (requiring and engraved plate and printed with heat and pressure) has stood the test of time but remains an expensive process. Intaglio printing affords much better definition and allows for better depth perception; look at the distance of the farmhouse in this note and compare it with the later non-intaglio printed R1 that follows.
Watermark: Springbok
Grade: Both Unc- : pristine notes English predomination. Faintest of evidence of previous paper clip use.
Serial number prefix: A/308 or A/526. Batches of sequential numbering available
