South Africa Railway post item conveyed on the inaugural train no 5811 from VRYHEID to RICHARDS BAY on the 4th May 1975. The addressee was an S.A.R employee for many years (Mr.A E Oliver was an Engineer), the item shows two cache's on the reverse, VYRHEID OOS/EAST and MANDLAZINI, along with the red railway post label. The item is in fine condition as shown in the scans.
