Offered on this auction is a South African POCKET Shield BADGE, or FLASH.
This badge is a lovely example of a c1970's South African Defence Force regimental badge from the RECCE / SPECIAL FORCES TRACKER GROUP.
 
The Pocket / Breast badge is smaller in size than the standard Arm badge.
Pocket / Breast badges are not offered often.
 
This piece of South African military history has a metal back, with an enamel finish and acrylic dome, and two fastening pins on the reverse.
 
This badge measures 2.5 cm across, and 3 cm in length.
 
It is in Excellent Condition, with both pins still intact (See photos).
