South African Air Force ceremonial dagger made by Eickhorn, Germany complete with belt and hangers

Another seller on BOB has a similar dagger manufactured by WKC and he states that WKC is the original, unlike the Eickhorn copy. This is absolute garbage! Both Eickhorn and WKC were manufacturers of these daggers and by appearance both were manufactured at approximately the same time.

The original dagger was modelled on an Italian dagger, so if there was an original dagger, then that should be this dagger.

The dagger is in very good condition other than for wear on the gilding on the rings on the hilt, the belt and especially on the pommel.  This can be repaired by means of electroplating and most jewellers should be able to do this.
