VERY RARE ABS Plastic snap-fit model of the famous  ZS-SAN "LEBOMBO"  in original 1971 "Bandit " delivery scheme. A beautiful classic. South African Airways ( SAA) first "Jumbo Jet".
Included is a rare dated and stamped commemorative envelope together with card which was flown on ZS-SAN's maiden flight from London to Johannesburg on 12TH December 1971. Please see images.
The same aircraft ZS-SAN flew over Ellis Park Stadium in 1995 just before kick-off during the Springboks famous World Cup Final victory over New Zealand 
ZS-SAN is now retired at the South African Society Historical Flight Museum at the Rand Airport in Germiston where it can be visited.
The model is in it's original vintage unopened boxed, in mint condition, complete with stand  and can easily be assembled within 5 minutes with no glue required.
