Each plate is immediately accompanied by a full description of the Aloe which gives all necessary details concerning distribution, flowering time, height, etc. While Mrs. Jeppe scrupulously adheres to the scientific formalities, she preserves a simplicity of style which will give this book a wide appeal both to the professional botanist and the layman.
